                                       Day 1 Date 15/09/2017

•  Things I learned and did today: I learned another characteristic of vowel classification (the character of vowel length) and did the comparative analysis of vowels (“trap” and “dress” vowels).
•  For today, my English speech has the following features of Russian accent: pronunciation of “trap” sound isn’t good enough, it coinsides with "dress" vowel.
•   I would give 6 points out of 10 for my pronunciation today because of vowel sounds that are sounded more Russian than British.  
•   For today, English speech of my partner has the following features of Russian accent: the same problems with vowel sounds and mistakes in pronunciation of the fortis consonants. Also, she has some difficulties with phonetic phenomena. 
•    I would give 2 points out of 10 for my partner’s pronunciation today, because my partner has problems with aspiration and dental consonants, she doesn't use fluency, puts the wrong stress in the words that's why she should work hard on them to improve her results.
•    Impressions for today’s lesson: informative and interesting; I liked the idea of working with a song (words gaping) and playing a game (writing a transcription).
•  To improve my results, I should do the following task at home: listening to the problematic sounds and practicing them at the website.
