 Day 7  Date 27/10/2017

•  Things I learned and did today: I practiced the sound “palm” and low-rise and rise-fall tones, reading dialogues at pages27-28, trained my fluency by saying the tongue twister in the group and practiced vowels from the song “Weak”.   
• ·  For today, my English speech has the following features of Russian accent: nuclear tones, fluency (long pauses), weak forms of the verbs.
•   I would give 6  points out of 10 for my pronunciation today because of problems in intonation and fluency. I should pronounce “low-rise” tone lower.
• For today, English speech of my partner has the following features of Russian accent: Lack of fluency and medium pitch level, long pauses and wrong stresses in the words and weak forms.
•    I would give points 3 out of 10 for my partner’s pronunciation today because of the mistakes in tempo and intonation (nuclear tones).
• Impressions for today’s lesson: I liked practicing fluency with the whole group.

• To improve my results, I should do the following task at home: I’ll learn the difference between Russian and British pronunciation and write down some important features. Then, I’ll compare my mistakes with the common mistakes that Russian people usually do when they speak English.
